The power of the healing drum lies in its ability to connect us to our heart, our natural rhythms, and to nature and the cosmic forces at work within her. The drum becomes a link between heaven and earth, between the drummer and the world of Spirit. It allows the shaman/healer to safely travel into other dimensions to bring back a person's broken soul and heal trauma to restore the natural state of wholeness and harmony.

Walking the Sacred Drumming Medicine Path means connecting with the power of the medicine wheel and the elements and using the drum as a companion, advisor and healing tool on the path to your own wholeness. You begin to recognize and activate your true potential, to transform fears and old patterns and to let the power of your heart shine with love into the world. To learn with devotion to be master of your own life and to follow your life purpose. It is a path of true human incarnation, connecting with the divine within you in alignment with the cosmos. "Sacred" means alignment with the cosmic order, a conscious decision to be guided by the cosmic order without relinquishing personal responsibility. The rhythmic sound of your drum is the rhythm of your heart, which speaks of your love for you and for all creation.

We begin with the teaching of the medicine wheel and incense, which serves as the basis for all our further steps. This is followed by the construction of our own medicine drum and medicine rattle, which we need as tools for our journey. When we have our tools ready, we want to bless them and bring them into their power. After that we can start with the healing work and learn how to work with drums, rattles and feathers on people in different positions (standing, sitting, lying). Intensive practice brings us security and understanding. Shamanic trance journeys into different levels of consciousness, finding personal medicine objects and power animals, one's own medicine name, experiencing different drumming methods and rhythms together and also healing drumming at a distance complete the spectrum. We will be accompanied on our way with the Sacred Pipe (Chanunpa) and experience the power of this ceremony.
